The relationship between China and Saudi has developed steadily, having achieved remarkable cooperation in various fields. In 2022, the bilateral trade volume between China and Saudi reached 116 billion US dollars, and Saudi became China’s first 100 billion US dollar trading partner in the Middle East.

Under the common concern and promotion of the two heads of state, the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries has been continuously enriched and deepened, showing a strong momentum of development.

In 2016, Saudi released the “Vision 2030”, which put forward a series of goals in social life, industrial development, and national construction, mainly including three major themes: a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.

The “Belt and Road” initiative is very consistent with Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030”, and strategic docking is increasingly strengthened. There is broad space for cooperation between China and Saudi in the fields of economy and trade, production capacity, finance, and infrastructure construction.

As the economic center of the Middle East, Saudi has a huge market size and a stable consumer base. From infrastructure construction to energy, manufacturing and other fields, the Saudi market has shown a booming growth trend. China and Saudi have huge potential for cooperation and broad prospects for development.
