In February, Mr. Mirza Ali from Rajput Brothers Traders in Pakistan contacted us and expressed his desire to purchase in China and hoped that we could find suitable manufacturers for him. As early as 2023, his business partner, Mr. Umar Shahzad, had already visited China to procure bearing products. Accompanied by our team, Mr. Umar Shahzad visited several bearing factories in Liaocheng, Shandong Province, established good cooperation with relevant enterprises, and purchased some bearing samples to take back to Pakistan.
As soon as we received Mr. Ali upon his arrival in Shenzhen, he shared in detail the products he was looking for. This time, his main procurement focus was inverters and laser cutting machines. Mr. Ali explained that due to Pakistan’s worsening power supply issues, he saw market opportunities for photovoltaic and energy storage products, prompting him to expand his distribution range.
Many factories in Pakistan are now eager to acquire more manufacturing capabilities to accelerate local industrial development. Mr. Ali believes that intermediate goods trade will become mainstream in Pakistan’s future, and he hopes to establish his own factory.
Mr. Ali paid great attention to the specifications and application scenarios of inverters, especially their quality. He stated, “ Although many people think that price is the top priority in the Pakistan market, we are now increasingly pursuing product quality as well.” After visiting several inverter manufacturers, he was full of praise for Chinese manufacturing and immediately purchased samples to bring back to Pakistan.
During the subsequent visits to machine tool manufacturers, Mr. Ali communicated with enterprises to ensure that the cutting machines he planned to purchase met his expectations. “ Both of my procurement experiences in China have been great, whether in terms of the products I have seen or the partners I have met.” He expressed that his cooperation with ICEC and Everest has brought him great convenience. He will also attend the Pakistan Industrial Expo this year, hoping that Chinese Manufacturing can bring him more surprises.
