The 3rd South Africa International Industrial Expo has been held successfully at the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg, South Africa from 19-21 September, 2024.
More than 200 Chinese manufacturers and government departments and business associations of southern African countries have set up booths on the site. During the exhibition, 24000 people from South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe and other African countries have been received to visit and negotiate, with an intended turnover of $ 120 million.
This exhibition has received strong support from over 25 government units and business associations in South Africa and southern Africa. At the critical moment when South Africa and China continue to strengthen the all-round strategic partnership in the new era, the exhibition focuses on key areas such as technological progress, the docking of the “the Belt and Road” initiative, 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation Summit, and the promotion of township economy, creating new opportunities for economic growth, technical exchanges and industrial progress, and constantly creating new momentum for cooperation.
On 20th September, Jinan Dialogue-South Africa (Johannesburg)-China(Jinan) Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference was successfully held at the Sandton Convention Centre. Ms. Pinky Kekana, Deputy Minister, Department of Public Service & Administration, attended the conference and delivered an opening speech.
At a critical moment when South Africa and China continue to strengthen their comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, the successful conclusion of the exhibition is of great significance for promoting business growth of Chinese and South African enterprises, promoting technological progress, and bilateral investment, which will help maintain the long-term prosperity of China-Africa cooperation.
